Had an exceptional college football card last weekend going 12-6.
Thought that would carry over into Sunday, wrong. Reality check occurs and the wise ACE reminds me that the dog tends to stay a dog in these later weeks in the NFL.
Ill go ahead and post my record (Officially). On this board, im 0-1 -3 units
Overall this year im 18-26 -2units
So i thought id try it again, with a nice concrete money management theory in place :
2* Steelers -4
2* Chargers -4
1* Bucs -7.5
1* Broncos -5
1* Cards +2.5
1* Jets/Browns O/18 1H
Thoughts :
Steelers are on fire, i dont care if this is their second week on the road, the same people who are afraid of that, were afraid for the Eagles coming off of a road loss and a bye. Im not buying it, so instead ill buy the Steel Curtain.
Chargers are the Chargers, it should be a close game. Raiders are at home, well one of two things will happen. If they come out strong the fans will back them. If they dont, the fans will let them know about it. Ill bet on B.
Bucs are at home. This is a no brainer. Bucs will play as hard as they did agains the niners when the niners traveled there for the first round playoff matchip a few years ago. Bucs destroyed them in that game, and showed no mercy. If Rattay starts, he'll more than likely come out from an injury or poor play. Meaning you're injecting Dorsey or Mr. Huskie right into the fire.
Broncos. Hmmm. They will have to run the ball to win. I dont see this being an air attack on either side, as both teams will expect passing therefore backing off the run. There is one thing that scares me. This will be the Broncos first game of the season indoors. That's no easy task.
Cards are playing for something. The Panthers are desperately counting the days down until the season is over. That much is obvious, oh..and thank you for the points.
Jets and Browns should score more than 18 in the first half. I have no insight for this other than a gut feeling.
Ill post afternoon plays later on, granted i dont go winless.
